Rodolfo Cesar Acerbi … if the cows could speak… this is a phrase that I frequently repeat, sometimes as s joke, sometimes in a very serous way, during my training course speeches about applying the beginning of the animal well-being in every day of the handling of our bovine ones. It happens that God gave the bovines the possibility of moose and bleat as a way of expressing themselves towards his congeners and of course with as, the human beings. The congeners understand perfectly well the meaning of those sounds. The communication between cow-calf at the moment of the weaning, the arrival of the troops to a fair and his mailing to a corral generates the communication of those bovines that are far away with anticipation. These mooes are named social; this means that they are communicating themselves by an event that happens in the herd at some specific moments. It is true that the bovine cannot speak the human language, but it has his own language. The only thing that is missing in the intelligence of the humans is to know what they want to say to us. A day will come that we would be able to figure this out and the first thing that we will do is to ask for apologies. |
